Our 17-inch sublimation blank book bag is a bag made from polyester material. These bags are excellent for customizing with unique designs, logos, or personalized artwork through the sublimation process.

  1. Design your artwork: Use graphic design software to create your design or artwork. Ensure that your design fits within the printable area of the bag and is of good resolution for a clear and crisp print.

  2. Mirror the image: Before printing, flip the design horizontally (mirror image) using your graphic design software. Sublimation prints are transferred in reverse, so this step is essential to ensure the image appears correctly after printing.

  3. Set up your sublimation printer: Load the sublimation paper into your printer and adjust the settings according to the manufacturer's guidelines for sublimation printing on polyester. Make sure you select the correct paper type and the appropriate color profile.

  4. Pre-press the bag: Pre-press the blank book bag using a heat press without any transfer paper or ink. This step helps remove any moisture from the fabric and ensures a smooth printing surface.

  5. Position the transfer paper: Place the sublimation transfer paper with the mirrored design facing down onto the blank book bag. Secure the paper with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting during the transfer process.

  6. Heat press transfer: Set your heat press to the recommended temperature and time for sublimation on polyester. Usually, the temperature ranges between 385-400°F (196-204°C), and the time is around 45-60 seconds.

  7. Apply pressure: Close the heat press and apply firm and even pressure to ensure proper ink transfer.

  8. Remove the transfer paper: Once the transfer time is complete, open the heat press and carefully remove the sublimation paper from the book bag.

  9. Cool down and finishing touches: Allow the book bag to cool down completely before handling it. Once cooled, inspect the print for any defects or imperfections. If necessary, trim any excess transfer paper and clean up the bag to present a professional finish.
